The partnership between IGT, a major distributor and producer of casino software, and the Ontario Lottery and Gaming Corporation (OLGC) has been renewed. The OLGC has reportedly approached IGT with a collaboration proposal in which the technology provider will generate electronic Bingo content for the state-run operator’s gaming platform.
Since this will increase IGT’s presence in the province, it’s easy to see why the company consented to the agreement. Throughout the province of Canada, players will have access to all of IGT’s electronic Bingo offerings thanks to the new cooperation arrangement. Initially, IGT’s electronic Bingo content will be made available to gamers in Ontario at 12 existing charitable gaming facilities spread strategically around the province. In addition, the OLGC has promised that the content will be made available on the operator’s internet platform as soon as the regulatory and licensing requirements are finalized.
It is because of IGT’s stellar reputation in the iGaming industry that major players like the Online Gambling Compliance Commission (OLGC) have even considered partnering with the company.
The software behemoth already has a number of e-Bingo games under its belt, so this won’t be a case of having to start from scratch. Golden Rooster, Bengal Eyes, and Pharaoh’s Legacy are just a few of the best-selling books in the series. The largest operator in Canada will have access to a growing collection of games, including both established and original works.
Expanding Access to Online Bingo
Providing its services to the Canadian operator is nothing new for the entertainment behemoth, as was previously noted. It already manages the regulated Canadian Poker business and operates the whole online Lottery ticket sales network.
The provider has an established, positive rapport with national regulators, which has allowed it to expand its operations throughout the country. Players in all areas will soon be able to enjoy the convenience of quick access to IGT’s electronic Bingo.
